The UV Cleanic system uses UV Technology to reduce bacterial growth in the Reverse Osmosis Unit (RO). The level of purification plays a significant role in safe dialysis treatment. UVC germicidal irradiation is a well-established method for disinfection. The spectrum of light between 10 nm and 400 nm is termed as Ultraviolet (UV) light. The germicidal range of UV light lies within the 200nm –280 nm wavelength range, also known as UVC. UV Cleanic uses UV lamps emitting UVC @ 253.4 nm wavelength.
